AA Meetings in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs

Your Journey to Sobriety Starts Here

Beginning the journey of recovery from alcohol addiction can feel overwhelming – but you’re not alone. If you’re looking for support to stop drinking, in Melbourne’s western suburbs, Western Unity is here for you.

We’re a welcoming Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group offering in-person meetings in Williamstown and Newport. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to reconnect with the AA fellowship, you’ll find encouragement, connection and understanding here.

How AA Can Help You Find Freedom from Alcohol

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a global fellowship of people who share their experiences, strength, and hope, to help one another recover from alcoholism.  Through connection, mutual support, and the 12-Step program, AA provides a practical and spiritual path to sobriety. It’s a program of community – not judgement – offering tools to stop drinking, understanding and a sense of belonging.

What to Expect at a Meeting?

If alcohol is affecting your life and you’re ready for change, you’re welcome to join us at one of Western Unity’s in-person AA meetings in Williamstown or Newport.

Our meetings are safe, inclusive spaces where you can listen, share if you choose and connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through. No bookings or referrals are needed – just come along. Whether it’s your first meeting or your fiftieth, there’s a place for you here.
